Nursery School: Learn How to Prepare the Perfect Babies Room!

A big part of getting ready for your little one to arrive is making sure that there is a suitable space in the home for them. Most folks usually create a nursery or babies room for this purpose, but what do you need to do to create such a space? Read on to find out.

Paint the Walls--

Start by painting the walls in the babies room. Of course, to do this, you have to decide first what color scheme you are going for. You may base this on the sex of the child if that is something you have found out about already, or you may go for something more neutral so it will be suitable for a boy or a girl.

There are also some really fun and easy designs that you can paint on the walls that can give your nursery an on-trend, yet suitable baby look. These include using masking tape to create a mountain range or even some geometric patterns to jazz the space up a bit.

The thing about babies is that they can't really use the furniture that you have for full sized people. That means they need a crib instead of a bed, a baby bath to ensure bath times are safe, and baby seats for later on when they start to sit up straight.

You will also need some adult-friendly furniture in the nursery. Especially a chair for nursing and feeding that is comfortable, as well as a changing station that is as adult height, so you don't have to do so much bending over. Trust me anything that can help save you back it definitely worth the investment at this point!

Of course, these things aren't cheap, and with the added cost of decorating the nursery, it can be tough to find the cash to pay for everything. Happily, there are some great low interest loans out there that you can consider if you have a lot of baby friendly furniture to buy. Something that will allow you to get what you need without having to pay back way over the odds once the baby is born and money is even tighter.

One of the things you find out when you are expecting is that everyone loves to buy you baby clothes. This is wonderful and very generous, but it does mean you need to find an efficient way of storing them. Otherwise, you end up having no idea what there is. To help you with this it can be useful to get a clothes rack or baby sized wardrobe like the ones discussed at http://babyandbump.momtastic.com.

Probably the most fun bit of sorting a nursery is all the little bits of decoration that you get to do. What you choose is up to you, but a great place to start looking for ideas is on sites like Pinterest and Ideal Homes where you can fun suggestions for things like shelves, pretty wall transfers, personalized pictures, and most important of all mobiles to hang above the baby's crib.

In fact, if you are feeling particularly crafty you can follow a tutorial like the one here, and actually, make a mobile yourself. Something that means you can personalize it any way you like, and make it perfect for your little bundle of joy.
