..::Product Review::.. Reverie Farms and Soaps

**Update**  Reverie Farms & Soaps has fixed the label, please scroll below to see how the issue has been addressed.

THE REVIEW:  I was provided with the opportunity to test out some products from Reverie Farms & Soaps, and let you guys know how they rate.  I tested two products:  The Natural Foaming Hand Soap in sandalwood and the Organic Bar Soap in cleansing lemon twist.

I love keeping special soaps around the house for personal and guest usage.  I usually go to Bath and Body Works and pick up their newest line.  BUT, have you guys ever checked out how not-so-good these products are for you?  In 2016, the FDA banned triclosan, a chemical that mainstream soap companies used in their products for years (Consumerist, 2016).  Heck, I can't even read some of the ingredients on the back of those bottles.

For the past few years, I have really brought myself into the organic market-- not with only food choices, but with products as well.  I have tried natural and organic soaps before, but their lines weren't worth the hefty price tag.

I have never heard of Reverie Farms and Soaps prior to this review, but upon more research-- I found that this is the exact company that I have been looking for.  They are a small company with a mission, vision, and value set that match everything that I hold close in this life.  Their products are geared towards a healthier relationship with oneself-- doing no harm to your body, and still enjoying the finer things in life.  The products that they sell are natural, organic, biodegradable, and vegan-friendly.  Not only are they good for you, but the environment is quite happy with the selection, too.

The first soap that I tested was the Natural Foaming Hand Soap in sandalwood.  I like an earthy-smelling soap, sandalwood is calming and relaxing to a busy mind.  This soap comes equipped with a sturdy locking pump, and is filled with 8.0 fl oz of liquid.  The ingredients are listed directly on the back label.

As soon as the dispensing pump is pushed, a perfect amount of foamed-up soap comes out.

The bar soap arrived enclosed in a brown paper wrap.  The fragrance and ingredients were thoroughly notated on the package.

I cut off a piece to use in the kitchen.  The soap is solid and uniform throughout each cut.

...and boy, does it sud up!  A little bit goes a long way.

I don't think I have ever mentioned the dryness that I experience with my hands, but it is bad.  I have to keep lotion with me at all times.  Typically, soap dries out my hands so bad that I can't touch anything textured because it sucks the residual moisture out of my skin.  I should probably see a doctor for it, but... so far I have just dealt with it. Anyway, this soap is so moisturizing that I have NOT had to apply lotion after using it.  The soap cleans extremely well, and it keeps your skin's moisture level locked in place.  It's such a relief.

Another thing I want to mention is these soaps are made right in the United States in Argyle, Texas!
+ SO MANY fragrances to choose from.
+ Amazing amount of suds.
+ Excellent quality.

+ Keeps my hands moisturized without lotion.

**Update** The new label has a clear label on top of the brown label to make it waterproof.
