It’s a fact – your bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the house. In fact, you might constantly change it to try and keep it modern and fresh. After all, you want it to stand out from the rest of the crowd. This won’t happen, though, if it isn’t clean. As you know, bathrooms are among the dirtiest and hardest to clean areas in any home. But, you can’t let that stop you from getting down on your hands and knees and making it sparkle. Below are the essential cleaning hacks that will maintain any and every bathroom.
Five a Day--
Usually, five a day relates to how many pieces of fruit and vegetables you need to eat to stay healthy. In this case, it refers to the amount of time you should spend cleaning each day. Homeowners like to think that a deep clean once every month is the answer, but it isn’t. The truth is that one big effort isn’t better than a spending five minutes each day with a duster. The reason is simple: dirt builds up. Every time you walk into the bathroom, the grime starts to form. If you leave it for weeks, the area won’t be sanitary.
However, cleaning every day isn’t a good idea unless you have a powerful cleaner. Otherwise, you aren’t making a difference at all. The trick is to find a different product for different tasks. For example, cleaning the floors isn’t the same as cleaning the tiles as the materials aren’t the same. If you have tile and grout cleaning products as well as floor cleaning ones, then, you’re bound to eradicate more dirt. Obviously, you might not be an expert on bleaches, so you’ll need to do your research. Or, ask a friend that you know always has a sparkling lavatory.
Sometimes, the commercial cleaners just won’t do the job. It isn’t their fault because they have to stick to the regulations. Some stains are immune to the common run-of-the-mill products. Thankfully, there is another way. You can make your own cleaning products to blast away any grime or muck. All you need is isopropyl alcohol or apple cider vinegar, and you won’t look back. Just remember not to go overboard because you don’t want to cause chaos. After all, you’re not a chemist, so you don’t know what you’re making.
For some reason, you will forget about the ceiling when you clean the bathroom. Everyone does it because it doesn't seem like a problem. In reality, the roof is a massive problem, especially if you have an extractor fan. Dust builds up all around the fan, and it can fall off onto the floor. Obviously, this isn’t very clean, which is why it needs taking care of ASAP. Moreover, the ceiling is a hotspot for mold. By scrubbing it daily, you can stop it from growing and spreading throughout the bathroom.
Follow these hacks and your bathroom will never be untidy again.
