     From the website. . .

I was sent the stainless steel digital luggage scale from Trouvaille to review.

Packaging & Presentation of the Trouvaille Digital Luggage Scale

This scale arrived in perfect condition.  The box opens from the side and features descriptive information about the scale itself.  However, there is a user's manual inside that goes more into detail.

The hanging strap is secured with a rubber band.

Some good news-- this scale does come with a battery, but you have to install it.  Just open the compartment and put the '+' side up, and you are ready to rock 'n roll.

My Personal Experience with the Trouvaille Digital Luggage Scale

I had a digital luggage scale years ago, and it was a heck of a lot bulkier than this.  It really did come in handy a lot, even for things unrelated to luggage.  I was excited to use this one-- it's a lot more updated and simpler to use considering there is only one button!  This button is the power button, plus you can use it to switch your units of measurement.  This one defaulted at Kg for me, and I had to set it to lbs.  It is back-lit in blue, so it's easy to read no matter the lighting.

The connectors are metal, and the strap is heavy duty.  You aren't going to drop anything with this!  The scale actually grips easily, so it's not like you are going to struggle trying to weigh something.

The accuracy is perfect.  You can rely on this.

Pros of the Trouvaille Digital Luggage Scale

        Cons of
        the Trouvaille Digital Luggage Scale
        • I haven't found any cons of this scale!

First, as I took it out of the box, I put it into my hand.  It weighs practically nothing alone. The portion where you grip it is actually pretty comfortable, and you can tell that it has been molded to fit the very angle of your hand.  The connectors are all made of metal, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking and dropping your luggage on the floor (that’s what I would be concerned about).  The strap itself is made from a quality material that is thick and won’t snap, either.

The LCD screen is very easy to read.  If you press the power button, it lights up.  When I initially turned it on, it automatically defaulted to kilograms, but I wanted to measure in pounds.  The manual said when you power the device on, quickly press the power button a few times in a row until you land on the unit of measurement that you want.  The scale is accurate, and considering it is small—you really don’t have to go out of your way to make room to store it.  Stick it in a drawer somewhere, or keep it in your luggage until you need it.  I am very happy with this, and I definitely recommend checking it out.

@Anonymous Thank you very much! You are right, everybody has their own interests. I know how you feel though-- I am vegan as well, and I get judged on my dietary choices, too. I totally agree.
