..::Product Review::.. Sweetsation Therapy's Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream

My Review of the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"This cream feels like thick water on your face, with Sea Kelp, Spirulina and Cucumber, providing continuous hydration to your skin all night long. Combination of essential oils, including rare Argan Oil, rich with fatty acids, add nourishment, elasticity and suppleness, delay aging process by boosting production of collagen and elastin. Kojic Acid as a part of spores of Reishi mushroom contributes to the formula by adding mild lightening action while Caviar Extract nourishes your skin with vitamins and minerals."

I was sent a 2.0 fl oz bottle of the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream from Sweetsation Therapy to review.

The price for this bottle is $24.99, plus shipping.

Packaging & Presentation of the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream

The bottle stands a little over 3.75" tall.  It is 1.75" at its base.  It was shipped in perfect condition with absolutely no defects.  The bottle itself is very pretty, the label displays a nice pink to green gradation.  It was shipped nicely in bubble wrap for protection as well alongside a few different brochures showcasing some pretty neat products from different lines.

After unwrapping the bubble wrap, the bottle was wrapped nicely in tissue paper.

The front of the bottle labels the brand and the product.  It also lists the main ingredients-- caviar extract, reishi, and CoQ10.  This cream is meant for:

+ Hydration
+ Elasticity
+ Even Skin Tone

The safety seal covers the entire bottle, and it has an 'easy tear' perforated strip.

The ingredients list is located on the right side of the label as well as the manufacturing information, and website link.

On the left side of the label is where you can find out a little more about the product, the usage directions, warnings, cautions, and UPC.  This cream is made in the USA, not tested on animals, and has a 24-month PAO.

This bottle uses a thick pump in order to dispense the cream.  The cap has a fancy chrome ring around the bottom.  There is also a plug in the opening to keep the product from clogging or crusting over.

The expiration date is printed on a label located on the bottom of the bottle.

My Personal Experience with the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream

If you have been reading my blog for any amount of time, I'm pretty sure that you know that I have a pretty dedicated skincare routine.  I do my morning thing, sometimes I do a little in the afternoon, and I definitely focus on the night routine because that is when my skin rests and absorbs the most nutrients (as long as I apply them!).

This is a dedicated night cream. I guess you can use it during the day if you'd like, but it leaves a little bit of a thick feel on my skin, so I wouldn't think it would work good underneath makeup.  It does, however, absorb quite nicely, and it works well alongside a serum.

It's a very silky cream, and the description is pretty spot on-- it feels like a thick water.  It absorbs very easily.  All that you have to do is apply it before you go to sleep.  Let the cream do the work, and it sure will!  Your facial skin will be noticeably hydrated and livelier as soon as you wake up.

Pros of the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream
  • A dedicated cream that works as you sleep.
  • Contains super awesome ingredients.
  • Easy pump dispenser makes application beyond simple.
  • A very light cream that absorbs easily.
  • Contains organic ingredients, not tested on animals, and made in the USA.

Cons of the Aqua*Tica Organic Botanical Night Cream
    • I haven't found any cons of this cream.

For the past two weeks, this cream has been something that I look forward to every single night.  I usually expect a small breakout, but I did not breakout at all with this.  The ingredients are premium, and I feel confident that this is the reason my skin looks like it's been through a rejuvenation convention.  There is a fragrance, so if you are sensitive to them, this may not be a cream for you.  However, it does smell fresh and a little spicy.  I like it!  A little bit of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last you quite a while. I definitely recommend it!
