..::Review + Giveaway::.. Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line

My Review of the Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Our vitamin c product line dramatically boosts the production of collagen, which increases your skin's rate of cellular renewal. Improved cellular turnover refines your skin's texture, while visibly plumping and firming your skin. With consistent use this will start to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Our serum is also perfect for sun damaged skin. We have combined three of the most powerful anti-oxidants available into one serum! Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, and Vitamin E when combined can provide up to eight-fold antioxidant protection, a 96% reduction of sunburn cells, and prevent the formation of new free radicals in sun exposed skin. This will fade age spots and dramatically improve discoloration leaving your skin with a youthful glow!"

Review…

I was sent the entire Vitamin C product line-- a cleanser, toner, serum, and a moisturizer from Azure Naturals to review.

The prices range for these products from $15.95 to $17.95.  All of these products ship free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of the Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line

All four of these products arrived to me shipped in a protective wrap.  There were not any issues with defects or leakage.  Each product was in excellent condition!  All labels are color-coded to match with the 'Vitamin C' theme.  Here, you will see a cleanser, toner, serum, and a moisturizer.

I am going to introduce these based on the order of use.  Beginning with the Ultimate Vitamin C Cleanser, the front label introduces the product and provides a few key ingredients:  15% Vitamin C, Organic aloe, MSM, & Rosehip.  The back of the bottle provides detailed product information, directions, ingredients, as well as the website information. This product was made in the USA, and is not tested on animals.

Next, we have the Ultimate Vitamin C Facial Toner. The front label introduces the product and provides a few key ingredients:  Vitamin C, MSM, Glycolic Acid, and Papaya.  The back of the bottle provides detailed product information, directions, ingredients, as well as the website information. This product was made in the USA, and is not tested on animals.

Next in the line would be the Ultimate Vitamin C Skin Repair Serum.  This serum is presented inside of a box. The front label introduces the product and provides a few key ingredients:  22% Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and Amino Complex.

The right side of the label provides a list of the ingredients.  The left side is where you will find the directions for use.  This serum is made in the USA, too.

Lastly, the Ultimate Vitamin C Organic Moisturizer. The front label introduces the product and provides a few key ingredients:  15% Vitamin C, MSM, Organic Aloe, and Green Tea.

The right side of the label provides the directions and the website information.  The left side of the label is a list of ingredients.  This moisturizer is made in the USA.

My Personal Experience with the Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line

Azure Naturals has been around for a while, and last year I was introduced to a few of their introductory products.  There have been a lot of like-products that are being made, and I actually have been duped with a few of them.  From now on, I am only reviewing quality, unique, and professional skincare products.  I will not support profiteering-- only respectable and genuine companies.  I have been impressed with Azure Naturals, and I love 'product lines' because it just make it a little easier to get the results you are looking for when you have a 'system' that is geared towards it.  They offered me both the 'Ocean Minerals' line (which I have reviewed here) and the 'Vitamin C' line.

In this line the cleanser, the moisturizer, and the serum use a pump dispenser.

The toner is a 'spray toner'.

This cleanser makes your skin feel VERY smooth.  What I do like about it right away is that you can see an instantaneous radiance in your skin (that’s always a plus!).  I am DEFINITELY not crazy about the fragrance, but since it’s a face wash, you really don’t smell it too much.  There is a very nice concentration of vitamin c in this cleanser, so if you use this in conjunction with other ‘c’ products, you’ll be good to go.  It lathers really well and washes off cleanly.  It is very concentrated, so you don’t really need a lot at all.  You can use about half of your usual amount.  Use with your hands or with a sponge. Both have been effective for me.

This toner is on the upper-side of ‘okay’.  First of all, I LOVE toners.  I use them all of the time (mostly twice a day, but sometimes three if I need a ‘refresher’).  They are a great way to get moisture and hydration into your skin instantly.  I really do like that it is a spray because it makes it VERY easy to apply, and you don’t have to buy cotton pads and waste time with that.  What I don’t like is the fragrance.  There is something off about it, maybe it’s the papaya, and I am just not a ‘papaya-person’ maybe?  The good thing is that the fragrance DOES dissipate after a few minutes.  It really does work well, though. The ingredients give you a very nice refreshing feel, and use of this is beneficial for the overall rejuvenation of your skin.

I use serums ALL of the time… twice a day, and I rarely skip a day.  Like most other ‘lines’, you don’t need the entire set to use this one.  However, with the other pieces, you will notice faster results.  Anyway, I tried the toner first, and I hated the fragrance, so I was a little apprehensive to try this one—but I am so glad that it smells sweeter and less papaya-y.  It’s a very smooth, all-encompassing serum that attacks problem skin at the cause, and not just topically.  It’s instant hydration, too.  It’s easy to apply (thanks to the pump dispenser).  It is also VERY liquid-y with a very low viscosity, so it WILL run all over the place on you.  The easiest way I have found to apply this is to pump a little on the back of my hand, and take my middle finger on the opposite hand and dab it in and apply in little dots all over my face.  After that, I just do an all-over rub and it works pretty flawlessly.

Following a serum, I love a moisturizer.  It is almost like a 'lock' that keeps all of the hydration inside while creating a soft exterior. Although I haven't been crazy about the scent of pretty much every other product in this line, this one is the best.  You can smell the citrus-y notes, but there is a soft powdery fragrance mixed in.  It's a very soft cream that is extremely easy to spread and create an even and smooth coat over your face.  You can also use this on super dry skin anywhere on your body, too. Places like your knees, elbows, heels are good ones to try.  You get quite a bit of moisturizer in here, and considering you only use a tiny amount, this'll last you a long time.

Pros of the Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line
  • Uses certified organic ingredients.
  • Instantaneous skin brightening (radiance and glow).
  • The products are color-coded, that way you know that they belong to the same line.
  • Although part of a line, each product can be used solo if you wish to do so!
Cons of the Azure Naturals 'Vitamin C' Product Line
    • I did not care for the scent of the toner at all, the cleanser was tolerable, but not my favorite.
          Summary

These products have really been nice.  If you use them all together, you will definitely see a nice change in your skin.  They are well made, packaged nicely, and overall they create a pleasant experience.  If you have a pretty down-pat skincare line, try adding one of these (or all of them!).  You will love 'em!
