..::Product + Video Review::.. Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar

My Review of the Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Do you own a dog, and would like a super convenient, easy to use means of training its behavior?

Rather than cheap dog training collars that simply emit a small shock/vibration, would you like a premium training collar that's super durable and packed with convenient features for the most versatile training collar on the market?

If so, then this Dog Training Collar is the perfect choice!

With a completely waterproof design, the Collar allows the user to train up to three dogs at a range of up to 1200 meters, using a combination of 10 levels of continuous or momentary shocks/vibrations. The Collar also allows users to set their required shock intensity and has an easy to read, LCD digital display, for dog identification and shock level selection.
The Collar uses a long lasting, rechargeable 3.7 Li-ion battery for easy training, and the Collar is manufactured from hard wearing TPU with a LED indicator for signaling low battery."

I was sent the dog training collar from Pet Resolve to review.

The price for this training system is $99.99.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of the Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar

I am happy to say that this training collar arrived in great condition.  It was packaged inside of a flip-top box that was sized perfectly.  The box is black with colorful accents.  I believe this box is a work-in-progress, so no worries about it!

The front of the box labels the product, brand, website, and features of this collar:

+ Train up to (3) dogs
+ (10) levels of static shock
+ LCD display for shock level and dog ID
+ Rechargeable transmitter and receiver collar
+ Waterproof receiver collar-- your dog can swim!
+ 5V 1000mA adapter and USB charging cable

The aforementioned information is pretty much the only information on the box, other than a band of the words 'Remote Dog Training Collar' around the exterior.

When you open the box, the paperwork is directly on top.  This is great, because with a product like this-- you definitely need to read the manual.

My Personal Experience with the Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar

I'm serious here-- it has got to be once in a blue moon that you get two dog training collars to review... they have both been great.  It's been pretty cool comparing them with one another.  My dog seems to take to this one a little better.  I like that it comes with a lanyard as well.

Everything was placed nicely in the box and all of the components were accounted for.

I decided to make a pretty informative video of this training collar, so you can get the in's and out's of how it works.  It's pretty neat!

Pros of the Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar
  • Great range!
  • Actually comes with a lanyard!
  • All of the components work great.
  • Trains up to three dogs with one device.
  • Fully adjustable collar.
Cons of the Pet Resolve Remote Dog Training Collar
  • The charging adapter feels flimsy and cheap.

Back in 2009, we were training a pit bull named George.  We used a training collar, and we had a LOT of success with it.  He turned out to be a very good dog, passing away from an infection too early.  Since then we have a new addition to our family, Markie.  She’s very intelligent—a German shepherd mixed with Basenji.  In fact, she is so intelligent that she tries to outsmart us!  It was time to go with another training collar, and this has been simply amazing.  I like this one a lot better than the other one that cost us $300.  This is a lot more user-friendly, the range is tremendous (which is very important because we live on a lot of land), and I love that it is waterproof we aren’t cornered to use it only on certain days.  The collar is adjustable and doesn’t hurt your dog.  I especially love all of the different modes that this collar has.  The LCD display makes it very easy, and this is definitely a necessity with dog training.  It has moved mountains with us. Also, this is not a collar to wear all of the time.  It is made for training purposes.  If you leave it on too long, you can hurt your dog with the prongs.  If you are at the end of your rope, and you need something—please check this out…you will NOT be disappointed.  Now could be a good time to crate your dog. However, crating your dog is a controversial topic. If you're dog is big then make sure you visit Selected Best to read some reviews first.  Also, if you crate your dog, you could be at risk for ear mites.  Be sure to clean your dogs ears frequently.  Check out the best ear cleaner online.
