Packaging & Presentation of SantaMedical PM-120 TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager

This TENS unit arrived in perfect condition.  Everything was perfectly placed snugly inside of the box.  The box was wrapped in a shipping bag to keep the box from getting scratched.  It's not a box that you are going to toss-- it's made well enough that you can keep it to store your unit.

The front and the box have the same information, although it is set up a little different.  The box labels the brand, product, and features:

+ For muscle and joint pain
+ Dual channel for simultaneous use on two users or two parts of the body
+ (6) auto program and manual mode
+ LCD display
+ Can be used on many areas of the body
+ Rechargeable battery

Both sides of the box are the same-- labeling the brand, product, and model number.

The very back of the box lists the distribution information, model number, and UPC.

The box opens from the front with a magnetic flip-top.

My Personal Experience with SantaMedical PM-120 TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager

I had my first experience with a TENS unit at my chiropractor.  I loved it, so I am so, so, so glad that I have one for home!

When you open the box, you'll find the instructions.  READ these.  Do not skip this step.  This unit can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

Everything came packaged nicely.  Each component was in great condition, and nothing was left out of the box.  Check out the following video for a more detailed look as well as demonstration:

Pros of SantaMedical PM-120 TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager

  • Extremely easy to use (once you learn it).
  • Pads definitely do stick well.
  • User-engaged level selection.
Cons of SantaMedical PM-120 TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager
  • Only one sticky tray was included-- if you use both sets of pads, you don't have anywhere to keep the other two.
  • Strength indicator was not accurate.
Summary

This is like a chiropractor visit in a box.  I have been seeing a chiropractor since June, and I had no idea that these little machines existed.  My doctor hooked me up to it, and it was just the most relieving and relaxing experience I have had in a long time.  It felt very good.  I didn’t want to go home.

Luckily, she advised me that they have little ones that you can use in the comfort of your own home (and without a copay!).  When I opened this one, I was happy with how it looked.  It is a lot smaller than the one in the office, but the actual workings were extremely similar.  There was a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get it set up, it’s pretty easy to use.  My only warning to you is to start low and build your way up.  If you start too high, it may feel like a bee is stinging you and you don’t want that.  I definitely recommend checking this out.  This is a fair price for pain relief.
