..::Product Review::.. ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer

My Review of ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"XANADU 24K Gold Serum by ISA Professional is designed to be the Best Serum for your face. Can also be used as a Makeup Foundation Primer that is weightless and helps makeup last longer.

Formulated with a combination of Botanical Ingredients, High Tech science, and 24K Real Gold. This serum will moisturize, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even skin tone, repair sun damage, and give you a golden youthful glow."

I was sent a 1.0 fl oz bottle of the Xanadu 24K Gold Serum from ISA Professional to review.

The price for this bottle is $59.00.

Packaging & Presentation of ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer

This serum/primer arrived to me in perfect condition.  The actual bottle was packaged inside of a flip-top box.  This box measures approximately 3.5" x 2.0" x 2.0".

The front of the box labels the brand, product, and sizing information.  The back of the box provides product details and a list of ingredients.

The box flips open from the top to expose the bottle.

This is a gorgeous tear-drop shaped glass bottle.  You can see directly through to the actual serum, and I love how the golden flecks of the serum complement the chrome accents of the bottle.  The identifying information is once again provided on the bottle itself.

This product uses a pump dispenser to apply the serum.

My Personal Experience with ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer

I mean--- who wouldn't want to try this serum, right?  I was actually looking forward to using it as a primer, not just for the serum properties since I just ran out of my MAC primer.  I was definitely impressed with the results.

First, the actual listing says that this contains rose extract, so if you are allergic or have scent sensitivities, please be aware of this.  I don't really care for the smell of rose, but I'm neither sensitive nor allergic to it, so I went in for the review.  When I first got it, I was really liking the way the bottle just looked.  It's one of the fanciest lookin' things on my counter.

When I apply this, the flecks of gold are perfectly visible.  When you rub it in, the flecks dissipate and you are left with glorious looking skin.  It's smooth, radiant, bright, and gorgeous.

Pros of ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer
  • Perfect results almost instantaneously.
  • The formula is balanced just right.
  • This works great underneath my makeup.
  • It creates soft, silky, and smooth skin.

Cons of ISA Professional Gold 24K XANADU Serum & Primer
      • It is a little expensive for the amount that you get.

ALL aspects of this has been wonderful. You know how some serums require weeks of use before you see the tiniest results? Well, you can see results with just ONE use of this. I prefer to use this as a makeup base, because it gives a really nice luminous base. I usually use the Burberry Fresh Glow, but I have actually replaced that with this (they are about the same price). When you apply it, the gold flakes seem pretty large, but as you work it into your skin, the flecks break down into tiny pieces that reflect light, but in a very nonchalant way. The ingredients are great, and there is absolutely NO residue left over (hence making it a fabulous makeup base). The only thing I am sad about here is that the bottle is on the smaller side, and I use a LOT of this and it’s eventually going run out! It smells like baby powder, but not as strong. It’s refreshing, and I definitely recommend it!!
