..::Product + Service Review::.. Scentbird Perfume Subscription Service - Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranee

My Review of the Scentbird Perfume Subscription Service - Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranee

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"A service in which, for $14.95 per month we provide scents from 350+ designers perfume ranging from Gucci, Prada, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and so on. You can choose this on the website and make it tailor to you! It's also a convenient way to carry it on the go with no hassle!"

Review…

I was able to experience the online perfume recommender and receive a month's worth of perfume from Scentbird to review.

The price for this service is $14.95 per month.

Packaging & Presentation of the Scentbird Perfume Subscription Service

The Scentbird package arrived nicely, and there wasn't any leaks, defects, nor damage during shipment.  The shipment arrived in a padded black envelope that was tightly sealed.  The envelope measures 6.75" x 7.0" x 0.75" at its widest points.  A circular pink Scentbird sticker was on front.

When I opened the envelope, I found two introductory cards and a soft pouch containing this month's perfume selection.

The first card explains how to operate the purse spray, and how to replace it.  It also provides directions on updating your next month's queue.  The back of the card provides a monthly quote about fragrance.

The other card is from Kasey, who was this month's Scent Muse.  It provides her social media contact information so you can follow her, and the other side outlines July's Perfume of the Mont (Coach Poppy).

The actual spray was wrapped inside a soft drawstring pouch. The pouch is labeled with the Scentbird logo.

The actual purse spray is a pretty decent size!  It measures 3.75" x 0.75".  I'll be honest here-- it's a twist spray, and the first time that I received this, I had a little 'operator error'...  I read the directions and realized you have to twist it, so there was my problem.  The second time around was like habit!

The top of the spray has the little Scentbird logo, and the spray nozzle appears after you twist the outer portion of the sprayer.

My Personal Experience with the Scentbird Perfume Subscription Service

I absolutely, positively LOVE perfume!  I was beyond excited when I found out I was able to review this service.  I subscribe to a ton of beauty boxes, but this is my first perfume box, and I'm super impressed...

The perfume that I was sent is called 'Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranee'.  Each perfume insert is labeled with the brand and the name of the fragrance.  Plus, you get a large amount of it!  This is not a sample size.

So, there is a method to this.  I didn't just go onto the site and select this one (although I could have if I wanted to...).  I started by taking Scentbirds quiz that guided me towards fragrances that I would like.  I answered each question on this five-part quiz.

After I was done, the generator brings up a huge list of perfumes that I may like based on my preferences.  I selected 'My Burberry' by Burberry (since this is the first one that I got), and the second being Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranee.  What's funny is I actually own a lot of the ones that were recommended to me, so I know the quiz was pretty accurate!

Now, when I logged in I noticed a few different things, so I wanted to go through them.  This portion isn't new but I didn't really go over it last time.  So, if you click on 'Browse All Perfumes' at the top, you can select a perfume based on the notes at the top, and you can filter through 'Bestsellers', 'New Arrivals', and even 'Brands' on the left.

Next, if you click on 'Extra Cases & More', you can select a new color case, and they even have a set of candles you can order.

Lastly, each month Scentbird has a Perfume of the Month.  This month (July), it is Coach Poppy!  This happens to be one of my favorite perfumes, so I was happy to see it featured.  Now, on the website, they already have the month of August up and ready to go (Burberry Brit EDT).  It's not midway through July yet, so I guess they put them up a month early?  Either way, in your pack you get the current month's card, and you can look online for the following month in advance.  The page details a lot about the fragrance.

          Summary

This service is fantastic.  I love it!  Yes, I definitely recommend it.  Maybe because I'm a fragrance lover.  Hopefully you are, too... if so, you'll go crazy over this!  What I like the best is that I can try all types of different fragrances for only a fraction of the price.  Plus, they are the real thing.  No dupes, no covers, and certainly nothing fake.  I can't recommend this enough.  This is absolutely one of my favorite beauty-related subscription services!
