My Review of Moroccan Black Soap & Kessa + Argan Oil

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .

I was sent an entire product kit from Zakia's Morocco to review.

All of these products have an ARV of around $40.00.  You can buy each separately (and they are currently on sale!).

Packaging & Presentation of Moroccan Black Soap & Kessa + Argan Oil
These products arrived to me safely.  Each one was wrapped and sealed to prevent contamination and spillage.  In this kit I received a jar of Moroccan Black Soap, a Kessa Exfoliating Glove, a bottle of Argan Oil, and a loofah.

There was also an included guide for easy use.  I love this guide because it has pictures and is easy to understand and follow along with if you aren't familiar with how to use these products.

Beginning with the Moroccan Black Soap-- the jar measures 3.0" x 2.75".  The front of the jar labels the brand, product, and sizing information.  The back of the jar details the product in both English and French (?).  You will also find the ingredients and warnings listed here.

Right in the middle of this information, you will find a little break where it mentions that this product does not have PET, mineral oil, parabens, or silicon.  You will also find the importer's contact information.

The jar is also covered in a full safety seal.  There was an easy-tear perforated strip for easy removal.

Next, the bottle of Argan Oil is 100% pure and organic.  It has a flip-top lid, so it's easy to drop the exact amount that you need.

The right side of the label details the product and also lists what it doesn't contain.  The left side of the label provides the distribution information and UPC.  This oil is cruelty-free and has a 24-month PAO.

Lastly-- the application products!  The kit came with both a loofah and a Kessa Exfoliation Glove.

The loofah is really nice-- it's thick and really gets the soap lathering.  The Kessa Exfoliation Glove fits really nice around the wrist.  Both have a loop sewn in to hang dry.

My Personal Experience with Moroccan Black Soap & Kessa + Argan Oil

absolutely love doing at-home beauty spas.  It's an extremely relaxing moment in time, and you can save so much money by doing it yourself.  I have review the Ghassoul Clay Mask Powder a little while ago (and I loved it!) so I was looking forward to what these products were going to be like!

I have tried African Black Soap before, and I don't know why I was thinking this was going to be similar, because it wasn't.  This is more of a tacky-consistency, and it was so much easier to use.  It has a greenish-black tint to it, and the fragrance was natural, but very clean.

I use this soap all of the time, and it is simply wonderful  You only need a tiny amount to get mega effects.  The loofah is a great application tool, here.  I feel so clean after using it. I use the exfoliation glove about once per week-- it's a rough mitt but it actually works.  Now, argan oil has been in my arsenal for a couple years now.  I love the stuff.  I am glad to have a bottle from Zakia's, because the quality is exceptional and is a brand that I ultimately trust.

Cons of Moroccan Black Soap & Kessa + Argan Oil
      • I haven't found any cons of these products!

It didn't take me long to fall in love with these products.  I use the black soap on a consistent basis because it accomplishes so much more than any other body soap that I have used.  The Kessa Exfoliation Glove is so easy to use, and you can actually see the dead skin coming off.  Just be careful because you can overdo it (and you don't want that!).  The Argan Oil is the perfect finisher for bright, healthy, and moisturized skin.  I definitely recommend checking this line out!
