My Review of Belle Peau Beauty Dark Spot Corrector

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Belle Peau Beauty is proud to offer our dark spot corrector. This hydroquinone and paraben free formula is 98% natural and 72% organic and effectively lightens dark spots using plant based glycolic and kojic acids. We also supercharged it with hyaluronic acid, nature's most effective weapon against skin dehydration, which can cause wrinkles, dryness and loss of skin's elasticity. Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water so imagine what it can do for your skin!"

I was sent a 1.0 fl oz bottle of the Dark Spot Corrector from Belle Peau Beauty to review.

The price for this bottle is $34.95.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Belle Peau Beauty Dark Spot Corrector

I am happy to say that this product arrived in great condition.  It was placed in a bubble wrap bag for safe delivery, and everything was intact.  There were no damages during shipment.  The bottle is white with a clear cap.  The cap has a chrome accent ring around the bottom.  The label is white with gray and pink accents.

The front of the bottle labels the product and brand, and lists a few of the main ingredients-- Hyaluronic acid and Kojic acid.  This bottle didn't have a safety seal.

The right side of the bottle describes the product, provides directions for use, cautions, and contact information.  The left side of the label lists the ingredients.  This corrector is recyclable, not tested on animals, made with certified organic ingredients, and has a 12-month PAO.

This product uses a pump dispenser for its application method.

My Personal Experience with Belle Peau Beauty Dark Spot Corrector

A while ago I received a dark spot corrector from Key West Beauty, and that has been the only one I have been using consistently because of the kojic acid and I just really like it.  That means a lot because I change up products all of the time for review purposes.  Anyway, I am running low on it, so when I saw this one available for review, I was pretty excited.  Now, when I got the bottle it looks exactly like the one from Key West Beauty, so I'm not sure if Belle Peau is copying them, or if they are a sister company or something.  They are both located in Florida, so I'm guessing they work closely together (or are the same company).  The products are even very close in price, too.  For 1.0 fl oz of the Belle Peau corrector, it's $34.95.  For 1.7 fl oz of the Key West Beauty corrector, it's $38.00-- so they are very comparable in that aspect.

So, of course I used it.  I was running low on my other one, and this has the same ingredients, so I was expecting it to be pretty awesome.  In the end, I saw no difference between this one and the Key West Beauty one.  I say that in a good way-- they both work amazing, and the ingredients are very effective.

Pros of Belle Peau Beauty Dark Spot Corrector
  • The serum is made with quality ingredients.
  • Very easy to use.
  • One of the few serums that incorporate kojic acid into the ingredients.
  • Brightens my skin instantly!
Cons of Belle Peau Beauty Dark Spot Corrector
  • I have not found any cons of this corrector.

I'm very happy with this. I have only recently began using a dark spot corrector (within the past eight months) because I have noticed some brown spots appearing on my face that were not there before. This has two of my favorite ingredients-- hyaluronic acid and Kojic acid. The dark spot corrector that I have used previous to this one had the same ingredients and I loved it so I was excited to try this one. It has been wonderful. The serum is light and smooth and applies evenly without any issues. It doesn't have a fragrance so it doesn't clash with any other product I use it with. Dark spot correctors do not work overnight, but with continual usage, you will see a humongous difference. I definitely recommend this.
