My Review of AVO Essentials 'Lavender Essential Oil'

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Lavender Oil is one of the most popular essential oils for its powerful therapeutic properties and wonderful fragrant aroma. This naturally derived oil offers relief for both emotional and physical problems along with the added benefit of being a natural insect repellent.
The smooth, relaxing aroma and healing properties of our Lavender Oil make it perfect for aromatherapy, natural healing, and household use. Our lavender plants are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or any other harmful additives."

I was sent a 4 fl oz bottle of lavender oil from AVO Essentials to review.

This 4 fl oz bottle costs $18.49.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of AVO Essentials 'Lavender Essential Oil'
This bottle of lavender oil arrived safely to my door.  It was packed inside of a box, and then inside of another box.  I'm always nervous when glass things ship, but this worked out fine.  Nothing was broken or leaking.  The bottle itself is a brown glass, and the label is lavender with white accents.  It is 5.5" x 1.75".  It comes with a glass dropper, too.  The manufacturing date, shelf life, and lot number is printed on a label on the box.

The front labels the product, brand, and sizing information.

On the right side of the label, you will find the ingredients, country of origin, storage information, and distribution information.  The left side of the label details about the product and caution statements.  This product is not tested on animals.

There is a safety seal on this bottle (which is great so oil doesn't leak everywhere).  The seal had an easy tear perforation.

The dropper is packaged with bubble wrap. It is made out of glass, too.

My Personal Experience with AVO Essentials 'Lavender Essential Oil'

Lavender is one of those oils that everybody needs to have.  There are so many uses for it, and you never know when you are going to need it.  A few examples?  Sure!  Aromatherapy, massage, therapeutic uses, and even DIY crafts!

The first thing I did was put the dropper in the bottle.  It smelled SO good, just sitting in the bottle!!  It's a very thin oil, and drips really easily, so be careful when you begin to use it.

Although I use this in many different ways, my favorite way is to put it into my burner.  I grabbed all of my stuff-- my burner, my fractionated coconut oil, and of course, the lavender oil!  I pour a little coconut oil to use as a medium, and add a few drops of the oil.  It smells great, it relaxes me, and it doesn't take much to make a noticeable difference!

Pros of AVO Essentials 'Lavender Essential Oil'
  • Many, many different uses.
  • 100% pure and natural essential oil.
  • You get a LOT of oil for your money.
  • Really, really strong fragrance.
  • Packaged for safe arrival (even the dropper!).
Cons of AVO Essentials 'Lavender Essential Oil'
      • I haven't found any cons of this oil.

Essential oils are great and they have so many uses.  Quality oils are hard to come across, you don't want to spend money on water with a little bit of oil in it.   You get a lot of oil for your money, and it's so universal.  You can do so much with this, and it's one of the best essential oils to get in my opinion.  I use this for almost everything:  DIY cleansing products, diffusing, rubbing it on my wrists, and in my bath.   This is a great addition to my collection!

This review is out of FDA compliance regulations for essential oils. It is illegal to promote health benefits of any essential oil in the USA. aVo's information on Amazon is enough to get them shut down.
