Review…

I was sent the red carved candle from Monna Candles to review.

The price for this candle is $19.95.

Packaging & Presentation of
Monna Candles-- Red Carved Candle

This candle arrived to me in perfect condition.  There were no dents, defects, nor issues during shipment.  Everything was packed safely inside a box with plenty of peanuts and bubble wrap.

I carefully took everything out of the box.  I found the carved candle, four little votives, and an instruction sheet.

The candle was wrapped a bunch of times and secured with a rubber band.

The bottom of the candle provides the warnings associated with use, and burning instructions.

My Personal Experience with Monna Candles-- Red Carved Candle

My husband and I were watching this TV show called How It's Made, and we saw these candles on there.  I couldn't get over how beautiful they are, and how much time is spent on each one.  When I received this, I was so happy with how it looks and works.

This candle measures 4.72" and is totally handmade and made to order!  This is not your ordinary candle-- there are rules so you won't ruin it.  Please be sure to read the instructions.

First, cut the wick before lighting the candle and let it pool wax for about 10-20 minutes.  If I could go back, I'd probably cut it a little shorter.  The more trimmed you keep the wick, you'll have a nice round well.  The red part won't burn, just the center.

After it pools wax, blow out the flame and pour it out.  Keep doing this, and when you create a narrow well that is about 2-3" deep, you can place a votive or tea-light on the inside.  When this happens, you'll see a lovely glow coming from the inside and the patterns will dance!

You can use the included votives to place inside or like me, you can save them as decoration. They are too pretty to burn!

        Summary

I love this candle!  I put it on my counter, and my husband walked in and complimented it.  He loves it just as much as I!  I love all the different colors from Monna Candles.  These are great to use as a centerpiece, and you can get all different sizes.  I've never used a candle like this, so there was a bit of a learning curve, but it wasn't bad.  I definitely want to get more of these!  The designs are amazing, and it takes real talent to make these.
