..::Product Review::.. Kiss Me Organics 'Organic Dandelion Root Tea'

My Review of the Organic Dandelion Root Tea

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Get ready to be TEA-sed by this aromatic, and beneficial Organic Dandelion Root Tea - With Hibiscus & Cinnamon!  Just like our Organic Matcha, this is USDA Organic and EACH BAG HAS 2 HEAPING GRAMS of this wonderful tea. ”

I was sent (5) boxes of (20) sachets of the Organic Dandelion Root Tea from Kiss Me Organics to review.

FIVE 20-count boxes costs $19.70, and it ships free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of the Organic Dandelion Root Tea

All five boxes arrived in perfect condition.  There were no dents, damage, nor defects with any of the boxes.  They came packaged in a large exterior box.  The box was labeled, so I knew what it was before I opened it.

Each box is really nice looking.  It is a sky blue with pictures of dandelions on it.  It is accented with different shades of green.  The box itself is a flip-top, and measures 5.5" x 3.0" x 1.8".  Each box is individually wrapped with cellophane.

The front of the box and right side of the box are the same.  They label the product and brand, have the 'USDA Organic' seal, sizing information, and provide two features of the product:
+ Supports Healthy Digestion
+ Aids Liver & Kidney Detox

The back of the box is where you'll find your Supplement Facts, ingredients, organic certification number, and pictures of the main ingredients.  This tea is non-GMO, organic, and vegan.

The left side of the box details the importance of each added ingredient.  You will also find the 'Best Before' date labeled towards the bottom.

When I flipped open the box, I found a large number '15' stamped on the lid.  Maybe this is the lot number?  I'm not sure.  But the tea bags looked nicely placed inside.  There are (20) sachets.

Each individual tea bag is wrapped.  They measure 2.75" x 2.5".  They go with the same 'theme' as the box, which I think is pretty neat.  The bag labels the product on the front, and has the brand and 'USDA Organic' seal printed on the back.

My Personal Experience with the Organic Dandelion Root Tea

I know this may sound weird, but I love dandelions.  I may be the only person in the world that kicks around the little white seedlings just so they spread throughout the whole yard!  They don't smell the greatest, and they don't last very long if they are picked, but they look beautiful and provide the honey bees with some work.

I've actually never ate nor drank any part of the dandelion, so this is a first for me.  Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive, because if this tea tasted anything like a dandelion smells, I wouldn't enjoy it.  However, it didn't.

I began by opening a bag and getting a good smell of it.  It smells really good.  The cinnamon and hibiscus really stand out; more so than the dandelion root.

I had my tea kettle going, and it didn't take long to heat up.  I poured it over my tea bag, and let it steep for 6 minutes.  That's one thing that I don't like-- there were no instructions.  I mean, I know it's tea (and how hard is it to make, honestly)-- but sometimes I like to follow the manufacturer's directions to make sure I'm doing it to their likes.

After 6 minutes, my tea was done!  It turned a nice deep maroon color.  It is transparent, and the aroma is wonderful.  The taste is very simple, and the results were relaxation, calming, and generally a-okay.

Pros of the Organic Dandelion Root Tea
  • Great for liver and kidney detox!
  • Naturally caffeine-free.
  • USDA certified organic.
  • Mellow taste, and you don't have to add anything.
Cons of the Organic Dandelion Root Tea
    • I wish each box had a few directions on it.

I'm really enjoying this tea.  It's definitely one of the most mellow teas that I've had to date, but it's also one of the most important detoxes yet.  With a gunked up liver and kidneys, your body won't process things correctly.  You want to make sure everything is in check, and it's as easy as drinking a cup of tea in the evening.  I'm all for it-- and it's been great!  Plus, you get a ton for your money with a lifetime guarantee!
