My Review of True Skin Care Under Eye Gel

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"True Skin Care’s soothing under eye gel with Vitamin C. Made with natural ingredients such as Cucumber and Green Tea combats the aging of skin and puts an end to dark circles and puffy skin under your eyes. Unscented gel appeals to both men and women."

I was sent a 0.5 oz bottle of Soothing Eye Gel from True Skin Care to review.

This bottle costs $35.95.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of True Skin Care Under Eye Gel
While everything works on this bottle, it was damaged during shipment.  There are two dents in the bottle-- one on the cap, and one on the bottom.  These dents do not affect usage, but they do not look great.

The bottle is white with chrome and gray accents.  The label is white white black and teal accents.  The bottle is 4.25" x 1.0" at its widest points.  The front labels the product and brand.  It also lists key ingredients.

The right side of the label details the suggested use, cautions, manufacturer information, lot number, and expiration date.  The left side of the bottle lists the ingredients.  This eye gel was made in the USA.

This soothing eye gel uses a pump dispenser as its method of application.  It pumps just the right amount for one use.

This bottle is covered entirely with a safety seal.  It has an easy-tear strip.

My Personal Experience with True Skin Care Under Eye Gel

I'm not crazy about unscented products, but I was instantly attracted to the ingredients in this eye gel.  It uses peptides and green tea.  I find that the green tea makes my eyes feel more 'awake' without any crazy chemicals.  I go through eye creams/gels so fast because I use them not only on my eyes, but on that space between my eyes, and my smile lines.

The gel itself is not completely clear, it has a little hint of white in it.  There are not many air bubbles in it.

It goes on really smooth.  I like that it doesn't leave any residue.  Sometimes skincare products leave a sticky residue and it's impossible to apply makeup, but this one isn't like that.

Pros of True Skin Care Under Eye Gel
  • Light gel.
  • Easily absorbed into your skin.
  • Unscented-- doesn't clash with other fragrances.
  • The pump doesn't clog, and pumps the right amount of product.
Cons of True Skin Care Under Eye Gel
          • My bottle was dented upon arrival.

I consider under eye gel to be somewhat of a multipurpose gel.  The ingredients in this one are awesome, and they are good for more than just the under eye area.  This is great to use in the morning and at night.  It works great underneath serum and moisturizer.
