..::Product Review::.. Ezy Chef's Milk Frother

My Review of Ezy Chef's Milk Frother

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"You like to drink creamy lattes or cappuccinos at home or office but you don't have a coffee machine?  No need to buy an expensive machine. EZY CHEF is the solution. Making Creamy hot drinks will be super easy with our milk frother."

I was sent a 2-speed milk frother from Ezy Chef to review.

This frother costs $22.90, and it ships free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Ezy Chef's Milk Frother
The milk frother arrived in excellent condition.  There were no defects nor damage to the packaging.  The milk frother comes in a white box.  There is a lot of information on the box.  The frother stands almost 9.0" x 1.75".  It is stainless steel.

The front and back of the box feature the same picture of the milk frother.  It states that it has a 2 speed drive and a brief description of the operation is listed on the bottom.  The right side of the box lists five important features of this product.  The left side says that it is made of food and drink safe materials, and it rinses clean for easy storage.  Please click on the pictures to enlarge them.

When the box is opened, you will find the milk frother wrapped in a plastic cellophane bag.  There were no directions in the box.

It is one piece.  The frothing part, and the battery part.

It is stainless steel, and feels really durable.

The battery compartment is located on the bottom.  It takes 2 AA batteries.

The cover slides on and off.  It's a little aggravating that the milk frother doesn't turn off, so you have to pop it out a little bit to get it to turn off.

My Personal Experience with Ezy Chef's Milk Frother

I've always wondered how to make the 'drink froth', and when I finally found out I was like, "No way am I spending $500 on a machine that's main function is frothing."  When I found out that a handheld version existed (and for only a tiny fraction of the price) I was excited to try it out!  It is supposed to be great for cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, hot chocolate, shakes, frappes, and more.

I decided to make a frothy hot chocolate.  I gathered all of my ingredients:  a mug, some milk, my favorite Swiss Miss hot chocolate, and of course the milk frother.

I began by pouring the milk in the mug and then adding the hot chocolate packet.

I gave it a good stir and popped it in the microwave.

So...here's the problem.  There were NO directions.  So, I winged it.  Bad idea.  I made a mess.

I took a break, and went on YouTube to figure out how to work this thing.  I found out that you can't have it filled up so much, so I poured about 1/3 of my hot chocolate out.  Then, I put the frothing head just under the surface.  And guess what?  It frothed.  Pretty cool.

Finally, Charlie got his hot chocolate, froth-style.

Pros of Ezy Chef's Milk Frother
  • Saves money-- you can make your ritzy drinks right in your kitchen!
  • Stainless Steel.
  • Has a 2-speed drive motor.
  • Easy to clean.
Cons of Ezy Chef's Milk Frother
    • NO INSTRUCTIONS-- this was a big one.
    • There is not an on/off switch.

Although this frother did work, there are a few things that I wasn't happy about.  First, there were no directions.  I've never used a product like this before, and even though it looks easy, I made a huge mess.  I'm talking hot chocolate everywhere.  So then (as the hot chocolate was getting colder by the minute) I had to go watch a YouTube video.  And the battery pack?  I don't like that it sticks out.  I wish there was an on/off switch.  On a good note, it's easy to clean and store.  I like that it's stainless steel.  It's very comfortable to use and saves a lot of money!
