..::Product Review::.. Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream

My Review of Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Say Goodbye To Wrinkled, Sagging, Dry Skin In Just A Few Short Weeks!  You can have more beautiful, smoother skin in just 2 to 4 weeks and see continuing improvement for 12 weeks (sometimes even sooner).  You will quickly reduce the look of fine lines and deep wrinkles, firming and replenishing your skin to look noticeably younger, without needing expensive procedures like Botox or dermal fillers.  Simply massage on Anavita Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream after cleansing your skin in the morning and again at night."

I was sent a 1.7 fl oz jar of the moisturizing anti-wrinkle cream from Anavita to review.

The price for this jar is $34.77, and it ships free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of
Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream
Sometimes, despite all efforts, products just don't make it to my door in great condition.  Sometimes it's the shipper's fault, the distribution center, or it could have been a defective product to begin with.  Unfortunately, the jar of cream that I received was damaged.  The lid and the side of the jar directly under the right side was all dented up.  Now, this didn't effect the product at all, but the packaging didn't survive the trip.

Beyond the damage, the bottle itself is really pretty.  It's silver and chrome, and it has teal accents.  It is 2.0" x 2.25" at its widest points.  The front of the jar labels the product and brand, and also provides company contact information.  The other side of the label explains the best way to use this cream, warnings, and ingredients.

There is a number printed on the bottom, it's not very clear, and I'm not sure what it's for.

This jar is wrapped in a tightly sealed plastic.  I recommend using scissors to cut it away.

My Personal Experience with Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream

I was so excited to use this!  I've been using a lot of serums lately, so it was fun to switch it up and use a moisturizer that works like a serum.  When I test these kind of products out, I look for a few things:  how it's sealed, how it applies (method), its fragrance, the amount of product you get, and the amount of time it takes to have effect.

After I unsealed it, I twisted off the lid, and I found the second dust seal.  It has a quick pull tab, so there's no struggling with this one!

When you take the dust cover off, you'll find that the jar is pretty much filled all the way to the top.  This cream settles, so you might want to give it a quick stir before you use it.

I swatched a little bit of it on my testing sheet, and it's a very thick cream.  Unlike a serum, this will not run down your face.  It'll stay in place.  It's a rich, creamy white.  It has a sweet, citrus fragrance.

It's pretty easy to apply, you use your finger to apply it.  Since it's such a thick cream, it takes a little while to absorb.  When it does, it provides a soft, silky finish.  I do not like using this under my makeup.  It is too thick for that, but I like to use it as a night cream.

Pros of Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream
  • Moisturizer and anti-wrinkle cream in one product.
  • Smells great!  Bright and citrus-y.
  • Proven results with clinical trials.
  • 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Cons of Anavita's Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream
  • Not the best moisturizer to use underneath makeup, it's a little thick.  It works great as a night cream in my case.

This is one potent anti-wrinkle cream.  It's a moisturizer at the same time, so it has two benefits in one.  You can use it both morning and night, but if you wear makeup, make sure you do a trial.  It may be too thick for your makeup, and in that case, use it as a night cream.  It tingles your face, and it smells great.  It's definitely a great replacement if you aren't that big on serums.

If you are unhappy with the results, Anavita offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.  What do you have to lose?
